Merry Medley @ Gardens By the Bay

Merry Medley @ Gardens By the Bay

We visited the Merry Medley @ Gardens By the Bay and had an enchanted Christmas experience. Experience "winter" in Singapore today in the Flower Dome.  It isn't exactly a white Christmas, but a Christmas garden bursting with colours to throw you into the festive mood right away.

The kids were dancing with joy around the garden.

What to look out for:

1. O Christmas Tree,  O Christmas Tree
Look out for these evergreen conifers - Noble Fir and Blue Spruce.
The Christmas Trees were so well decorated and the children just can't stop admiring the trees and taking photos with them.

2. Poinsettia
Look out for the red and green leaves Poinsettia everywhere. Discover other rare colours of poinsettia around too..

3. Christmas Rose (Winter Rose)
Spot those white rose-like blooms in the flower field.

4. Holly
Very often during Christmas, we see these berries decoration. It is till now that we found out that they are actually fruits from Holly. These red berries often last throughout winter.

Look out for these Winterberry Hollies.

The Winterberry Hollies look so attractive in white "snow".

Another berry looking plant that attracted the kids.

Other highlights

Seas of Hydrangea and plants decorated as presents.

Luminarie
Catch these dazzling lights in the conservatories and around the Gardens.

A giant snow globe

Beautiful lilies looking like trumpets.. They look so perfect!!!

 Christmas Tiers of Good Cheer

Just a poem to sum up our experience.

Merry Medley

Children dancing joyfully
Among tall brightly lit stars
Endless Laughter
Clowning around
A garden bursting with colours

People glowing with happiness
Cheering and thankful that
It is Christmas Season!
