Quilling Fun

Quilling Fun

Fun at home on a lazy Satuarday. Quilling is really easy. It encourages creativity and is also an activity that allows the child to practice fine motor skill.

Simple quilling:

Simply find strips of construction paper. Get your child to help you roll it up and then simple shape it.
Then, glue the different colours and shapes together to form your desired image. For us, since we are learning about insects, our quilling theme is insects. So Faith wanted to make: Bumblebee, caterpillar, dragonfly, grasshopper, butterfly and spider.

For the bubblebee and dragonfly, I actually have to stick different coloured strips together before rolling them.

Happy Faith with her work. Of course, Mummy helped her with the shaping while Faith helped to roll the paper and glue them.
